PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Peristera Paschou graduated from the Physics Department in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and she obtained her M.Sc. degree in 2018, in the field of "Environmental Physics", also from the Physics Department in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since February 2019, she has been working as a research fellow for the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing at the National Observatory of Athens. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with the main focus on the properties of desert dust using active satellite and ground-based remote sensing.

About Us

ReACT stands for “Remote sensing of Aerosols, Clouds and Trace gases”, to describe the research focus of the respective research team led by Dr. Vassilis Amiridis. ReACT consists of highly motivated scientists within the field of Atmospheric Sciences, combining a number of Post-doc researchers, Ph.D. and M.Sc. students as well as other research and technical staff, using the resources, infrastructure and experience of the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS).
