PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Rizos Konstantinos was born in Athens, Greece in 1989. He received his B.Sc. in Physics in 2012, and his M.Sc. in Environmental Physics in 2015, all from the Physics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Then he started a new position as a Ph.D. candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has participated in international Conferences and he has also original publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and scientific conference proceedings. Currently, he is working as a research fellow in the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing of the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) focusing on studying the aerosol optical and physical properties based on satellite observations.

 

About Us

ReACT stands for “Remote sensing of Aerosols, Clouds and Trace gases”, to describe the research focus of the respective research team led by Dr. Vassilis Amiridis. ReACT consists of highly motivated scientists within the field of Atmospheric Sciences, combining a number of Post-doc researchers, Ph.D. and M.Sc. students as well as other research and technical staff, using the resources, infrastructure and experience of the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS).
