This week ReACT team participated in the APOLO conference in Japan, showcasing state-of-the-art methodologies employed at the PANGEA Observatory for retrieving atmospheric parameters. These methodologies also hold great potential for application in data analysis from the National Microsatellite Program in Greece.
During the conference, Vassilis Amiridis and Anna Gialitaki explored exciting collaboration opportunities with representatives from the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Discussions focused on leveraging these methodologies for future international experiments, set to take place in Greece, aiming to advance satellite data retrieval and validation efforts. This potential reinforces Greece's importance as a hub for global atmospheric research.
The APOLO conference serves as a platform for top scientists worldwide to exchange insights on satellite technology, remote sensing, and atmospheric sciences.
